Aldo Meta made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Lane Key sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Tonin Roçi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Meta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Dubose in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Tonin Roçi made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Sito. Pogradeci FCA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Pogradeci FCA's Luciano Sito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajo Qose in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Kajo Qose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Dubose in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta got control of the ball when Scot McNair tried to sneak it across the goal line. That made the score 3-2 after 37 minutes of play. Marvin Dubose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Aldo Meta made a huge save. Luciano Sito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arqile Muçollari, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kajo Qose in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sito saved Pogradeci FCA from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kajo Qose to make the kick off. Pogradeci FCA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marvin Dubose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Marvin Dubose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Meta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Dewitt in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Dewitt in the 74th minute of play forced Pogradeci FCA's goalkeeper Aldo Meta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kajo Qose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Kajo Qose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogradeci FCA's Luciano Sito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Cesar Jacobson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pogradeci FCA's Tonin Roçi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 87 played minutes Pogradeci FCA got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Dubose. In the last second Luciano Sito throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kajo Qose in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Klodian Kasapi's late challenge caught a Pogradeci FCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klodian Kasapi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, one of Pogradeci FCA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pogradeci FCA. The referee gave Pogradeci FCA a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roman Brock, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pogradeci FCA's Aldo Meta. 5-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pogradeci FCA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pogradeci FCA.
