If Ferman Yakup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Pogradeci FCA's Roman Brock seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roman Brock the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pogradeci FCA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roman Brock had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Pogradeci FCA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GitGelGele:s goal. Luciano Sito had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Çağdaş Kamber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GitGelGele's zone, Lane Key stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez came out of the goal and Lane Key tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, GitGelGele's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Dewitt came free, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bailey House. With a little luck, GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez got control of the ball when Lane Key tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, GitGelGele's Ali Nejat Duman got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Mehmet Ali Başeğmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Pogradeci FCA's Scot McNair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Lane Key fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Başeğmez having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Nejat Duman during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matt Esquivel charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt Esquivel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the game, one of Pogradeci FCA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for GitGelGele. Çağdaş Kamber stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luciano Sito. 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, GitGelGele's Çağdaş Kamber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Sito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Ali Başeğmez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Luciano Sito made a huge save. The supporters of Pogradeci FCA booed when GitGelGele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağdaş Kamber didn't get a good kick on the ball.
