The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cambrian Mountains getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. In the 10thth minute of the game Syvwlch Lloyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barcelona FC's Dalmai Zaldua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Syvwlch Lloyd struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Dalmai Zaldua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambrian Mountains. In the 17th match minute, Barcelona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birila Cuadrillero to maneuver through the defense. Dalmai Zaldua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhun Gillock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evrei Futter kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Barcelona FC's Eron Aldama tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Wilton Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristos Pescatori, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona FC's zone, Lavaine Kimball stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmai Zaldua came out of the goal and Lavaine Kimball tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Jamese Houldsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Syvwlch Lloyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dalmai Zaldua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Syvwlch Lloyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syvwlch Lloyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Birila Cuadrillero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambrian Mountains the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Birila Cuadrillero got a free kick in the 41st minute. Cambrian Mountains's Wilton Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gian-Carlo Yarritu in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Wilton Dracena made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gian-Carlo Yarritu sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Syvwlch Lloyd sped through Barcelona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmai Zaldua. Lavaine Kimball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmai Zaldua having to interfere. Syvwlch Lloyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
