Roger Ekberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Santo came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Vince Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Santo in the 17th minute of play forced AC United's goalkeeper Roger Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC United's goalkeeper Roger Ekberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vince Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Santo in the 22nd minute of play forced AC United's goalkeeper Roger Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Szilveszter Zarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vince Santo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Ekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Szilveszter Zarka came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szilveszter Zarka took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Ekberg. Roger Ekberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 40 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Santo came free, but Roger Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Enström hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Szilveszter Zarka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC United's Roger Ekberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 minutes, Szilveszter Zarka made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. AC United's Roger Ekberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The AC United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SEFEROĞULLARI were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Lindman to make the kick off. Mirza Olgunsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Carlberg in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Rune Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Olgunsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tao Ao Xing in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jeremias Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEFEROĞULLARI's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Ekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Vince Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, SEFEROĞULLARI's Vince Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Ekberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SEFEROĞULLARI booed when AC United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Deckbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC United made a substitution. Elof Hedling replaced Egil Tidéksson. In the 74th minute Vince Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vince Santo in the 76th minute of the match. Vince Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Ekberg having to make a save. AC United's Roger Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Santo in the 78th minute of play. Bernt Carlberg scored 1-6 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirza Olgunsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roger Ekberg stood somewhat misplaced when Vince Santo came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 89 minute. SEFEROĞULLARI's Berkem Bekata was substituted for Tao Ao Xing. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Olofsson in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirza Olgunsoy saved SEFEROĞULLARI from getting behind. 98 minutes into the game, Berkem Bekata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Roger Ekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

SEFEROĞULLARI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
