When Melquiades Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Calchín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Lizar couldn't finish the play. When Mateo Tancredo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calchín FC's protests and gave Mateo Tancredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Calchín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. If Dragoş Boieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragoş Boieru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Vince Bentham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kenny Rothwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Lizar in the 34th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Dragoş Boieru made a precise shot to the right of Vince Bentham. Calchín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Kenny Rothwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Higinio Lapurdi made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Borospatak SC's Kenny Rothwell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Higinio Lapurdi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The Calchín FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
