Patrick Bedford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kelvin Stiles had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Ovidio Gala from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Wayne Rooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Patrick Bedford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelvin Stiles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Gala in the 46th minute of play. Zaragocilla FC's Patrick Bedford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlton Norman in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Zaragocilla FC's Patrick Bedford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Zaragocilla FC from getting a goal against them. Wayne Rooneys short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Patrick Bedford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Thē Ŵhïppętś's Wayne Rooney fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 61 minutes of play, Zaragocilla FC's Maureo Castejon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kelvin Stiles was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the game, Zaragocilla FC's Ovidio Gala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kelvin Stiles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Nalo Viego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kelvin Stiles came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zaragocilla FC's Ovidio Gala. But to his dismay, Ovidio Gala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Zaragocilla FC booed when Thē Ŵhïppętś was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrone Boxall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Rooney in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wayne Rooney got free with Patrick Bedford in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 90 in the game by Wayne Rooney from a close distance when the talented Patrick Bedford managed to make a qualified save. Zaragocilla FC's players were relieved. Wayne Rooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Thē Ŵhïppętś's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Thē Ŵhïppętś may have spent more time on the ball, but Zaragocilla FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
