Tony de Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nalo Viego went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Tony de Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidio Gala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony de Alcântara. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 66 played minutes, Zaragocilla FC's Steven Grigg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tony de Alcântara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zaragocilla FC reached it. After having played for 71 minutes, Igon Ibaute managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zaragocilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igon Ibaute was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cumbe EC's zone, Nalo Viego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony de Alcântara came out of the goal and Nalo Viego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tony de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Gala in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Ovidio Gala made a precise shot to the right of Tony de Alcântara. Cumbe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 93 minutes into the game, Ovidio Gala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Tony de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
