The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Melquiades Lizar made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Asproyerakáta's Agesilaus Lalagos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agesilaus Lalagos having to interfere. Dimos Mavromichalis's late challenge caught a Calchín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimos Mavromichalis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Dimos Mavromichalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Calchín FC's Charlie Saunders broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Agesilaus Lalagos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Lizar went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Higinio Lapurdi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Agesilaus Lalagos, 4-0. With a little luck, Asproyerakáta's Agesilaus Lalagos got control of the ball when Melquiades Lizar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mateo Tancredo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calchín FC's protests and gave Mateo Tancredo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Asproyerakáta booed when Calchín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Tancredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Calchín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iakobos Kavallieratos came free, but Vince Bentham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Mateo Tancredo took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Agesilaus Lalagos to make any attempt to save it. Melquiades Lizar took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agesilaus Lalagos. Agesilaus Lalagos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Calchín FC's Vince Bentham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkyoneus Mitsinikos in the 44th minute of play. Melquiades Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Agesilaus Lalagos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

After 53 played minutes Calchín FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Belmiro. In the 56th minute, Melquiades Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agesilaus Lalagos was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After a rather tough play, Asproyerakáta's Euneos Rousses got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 67thth minute of the game Higinio Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asproyerakáta's Agesilaus Lalagos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Calchín FC's goalkeeper Vince Bentham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epigonoi Tsaousidis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Lapurdi during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alkyoneus Mitsinikos in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vince Bentham saved Calchín FC from getting behind. Agesilaus Lalagos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Agesilaus Lalagos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Lizar in the 89th minute of play. Melquiades Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Agesilaus Lalagos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calchín FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Asproyerakáta for a fine match.
