Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Lapurdi kicked off to start the match. Vince Bentham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Boieru in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Borospatak SC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Lapurdi came free, but Kenny Rothwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes in the game, Melquiades Lizar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kenny Rothwell having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergiu Bociort in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince Bentham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calchín FC's Vince Bentham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Bociort in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Higinio Lapurdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Calchín FC's Higinio Lapurdi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenny Rothwell. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st play minute Melquiades Lizar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kenny Rothwell. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Borospatak SC's zone, Melquiades Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Rothwell came out of the goal and Melquiades Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragoş Boieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vince Bentham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Melquiades Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenny Rothwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Melquiades Lizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Rothwell. Borospatak SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melquiades Lizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Augusto Roldanillo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergiu Bociort stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Melquiades Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Rothwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Melquiades Lizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calchín FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After having played for 57 minutes, Lino Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calchín FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Roldan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Rothwell having to interfere. Valeriu Opaina charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriu Opaina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dragoş Boieru struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Vince Bentham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borospatak SC. When Melquiades Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Calchín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Lizar couldn't finish the play. Sergiu Bociort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Bentham having to interfere. Vince Bentham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragoş Boieru in the 75th minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Dragoş Boieru sped through Calchín FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vince Bentham. After a rather tough play, Borospatak SC's Toader Cârneci got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes of play Borospatak SC's Valeriu Opaina was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 81st match minute, Borospatak SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Opaina to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Higinio Lapurdi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calchín FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Dragoş Boieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enno Liebens kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borospatak SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Calchín FC. Charlie Saunders stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kenny Rothwell. 7-1.
