The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gwidon Jaroch made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogumil Warka kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislaw Derlanga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Stanislaw Derlanga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Jaroch in the 24th minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when Dorren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Smuskiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanislaw Derlanga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Smuskiewicz in the 30th minute of the match. Bogumil Warka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislaw Derlanga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwidon Jaroch got free with Keld Paulsen in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bogumil Warka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorren's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogumil Warka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanislaw Derlanga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 45th minute of play.

51 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Marchewka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Stanislaw Derlanga in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Smuskiewicz in the 53rd minute of play. Bogumil Warka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Edmund Smuskiewicz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Dresik made a great header on Dorren's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. 62 minutes into the match, Bogumil Warka notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogumil Warka in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Dorren got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Korneliusz Dresik ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edmund Smuskiewicz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Edmund Smuskiewicz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Edmund Smuskiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Edmund Smuskiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislaw Derlanga had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Chris Nygaard from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Bogumil Warka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bogumil Warka succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dorren.
