REAL SUOMI CF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Max Magnus scored to the left of an out of position Tobias Sandberg, making the score, 3-1. After 21 played minutes Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Bianchi. If Tobias Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max Magnus charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Magnus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Max Magnus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind REAL SUOMI CF's goalkeeper Tobias Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. REAL SUOMI CF's Tobias Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Venceslao in the 41st minute of play. Carter Croce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tobias Sandberg made a huge save. The supporters of REAL SUOMI CF booed when Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Tacco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes REAL SUOMI CF got a freekick which was hit by Calle Bruse. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Ahlbeck to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ermanno Valeri notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of REAL SUOMI CF's Tobias Sandberg. Tobias Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th minute, Ciro Tacco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amos Colagrossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the game, Benoit Van hoegaerde threw the ball into play from the sideline. The throw-in from Benoit Van hoegaerde in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by REAL SUOMI CF's 宋克国. Tobias Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Venceslao in the 70th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of REAL SUOMI CF:s goal. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for REAL SUOMI CF. Edmund Bäcklin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amos Colagrossi. 6-2. After a rather tough play, REAL SUOMI CF's Calle Bruse got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's Amerigo Bianchi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, REAL SUOMI CF's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Praporgescu came free, but Tobias Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes, Max Magnus made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. REAL SUOMI CF's Tobias Sandberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Gaston Venceslao notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of REAL SUOMI CF's Tobias Sandberg. Tobias Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Benoit Van hoegaerde with Ciro Tacco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
