After having played for 18 minutes, Alexander Van Hautvinck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Van Hautvinck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dirk Damman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Dirk Damman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Julian von Moos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian von Moos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Damman in the 37th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Nikola Portner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Schmid to maneuver through the defense. Manu Rosseels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Lupea, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Alpina FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
