After 12 minutes, Juan Estevan Hamdorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportes Santa Cruz and the Ghostbusters CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute Yan Zhi Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Nanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Eliodor Purcaru put in a rough tackle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Pavel made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ghostbusters CF's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Navia came free, but Ivan Nanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Andrea Pavel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilkka Markkula. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Pavel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some careless play in the Ghostbusters CF defense, Yan Zhi Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Nanu. The Ghostbusters CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Nanu should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Ghostbusters CF's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Ivan Nanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trayko Gradinarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Nanu having to interfere. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oinomoas Iliopoulos in the 77th minute of the match. Ghostbusters CF's Ivan Nanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 82nd minute of play. Ilkka Markkula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oinomoas Iliopoulos in the 84th minute of play. Ivan Nanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trayko Gradinarski in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Andrea Pavel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Trayko Gradinarski could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Ivan Nanu however easily saved by the left post.
