In the 2nd match minute, Challenger RT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Arnista to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Jaime Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cruzeiro FC and the Challenger RT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Witalis Solarek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Paulo Paraíba. Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zenon Czermak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Luís Paulo Paraíba made a huge save. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Paulo Paraíba got control of the ball when Zenon Czermak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olgierd Winnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Vivaldo Carmona made a precise shot to the right of Szczepan Zworski. Szczepan Zworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matei Zamfira scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Paulo Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szczepan Zworski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Zonta in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Zenon Czermak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Zenon Czermak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Paraíba, 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Carmona was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Baltazar Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Zworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Olgierd Winnicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Zamfira, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Valdir Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Szczepan Zworski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Matei Zamfira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Cruzeiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
