EL FIRULETE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Fiz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 14 minutes EL FIRULETE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Bienienda who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ivan Chiuzbaian successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 28 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Bienienda. Hermengildo Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Fiz saved EL FIRULETE from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Fiz. EL FIRULETE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hermengildo Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. EL FIRULETE's Christian Wood was substituted for Vicente Pelayo. EL FIRULETE made a substitution. Kader Wing replaced Jeronimo Corderall. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stasio Bienienda hit a great ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Alfonso in the 62nd minute of play. Gaston Alfonso got in the 63rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If İlhami Akyazıcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İlhami Akyazıcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Fiz having to interfere. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 80th minute of play forced EL FIRULETE's goalkeeper Hermengildo Fiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Hermengildo Fiz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 89th minute of play forced EL FIRULETE's goalkeeper Hermengildo Fiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Fiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy.
