After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Primitivo Grau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Grau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. La Vela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 12th minute of the match. Zhao Sen Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Crainic in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ghostbusters CF's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but La Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without La Vela having to make a save. 29 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. La Vela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over La Vela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but La Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 33rd minute of play forced Ghostbusters CF's goalkeeper La Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İlhami Akyazıcı might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over La Vela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İlhami Akyazıcı ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 47th minute of play forced Ghostbusters CF's goalkeeper La Vela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute of the game Eusebiu Neagu made a throw-in which Pompiliu Crainic played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Pinto in the 53rd minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhao Sen Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving La Vela. That made the score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but La Vela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that La Vela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for La Vela to make any attempt to save it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but La Vela was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. A collision led to Ghostbusters CF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eusebiu Neagu hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of La Vela. That made the score 1-4 after 73 minutes of play. In the 77th minute, Zhao Sen Yang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhao Sen Yang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. La Vela came out and tried to block the shot, but Zhao Sen Yang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 80th minute. Ghostbusters CF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Zhao Sen Yang scored to the left of an out of position La Vela, making the score, 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Vela saved Ghostbusters CF from getting behind. La Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind La Vela. La Vela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Zhao Sen Yang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. La Vela came out and tried to block the shot, but Zhao Sen Yang slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 95th minute.
