Calvin Hollingsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edgardo Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match, Damien Roetering got a very nice opportunity to score, but Angelino Abancens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Richard Spiering ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Roetering got free with Angelino Abancens in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens got control of the ball when Martijn Jol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Grantham in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Oinaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinu Pelin made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Damien Roetering made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Abancens. Club Atlétic Incles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 54th minute of play forced Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien Roetering's late challenge caught a Club Atlétic Incles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damien Roetering helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stommeer A getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Damien Roetering hit a great ball. After 60 minutes, Gertjan Hardering mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stommeer A and the Club Atlétic Incles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Gertjan Hardering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes Stommeer A got a freekick which was hit by Tom Hedvall. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes Calvin Hollingsworth shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Edgardo Oinaz when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Club Atlétic Incles's Angelino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Jol in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlétic Incles booed when Stommeer A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Calvin Hollingsworth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Oinaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Edgardo Oinaz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlétic Incles's goalkeeper Angelino Abancens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Vinícius Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stommeer A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinícius Junior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stommeer A fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlétic Incles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
