Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Zamfira in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Zamfira came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Teves in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grzegorz Bielecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Zamfira in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Challenger RT's Sylwester Podowski got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Matei Zamfira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Zamfira in the 17th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Benigno Bermund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guardia Imperial and the Challenger RT players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Challenger RT booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Bermund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Matei Zamfira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matei Zamfira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Atilano Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Zamfira in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Challenger RT's Grzegorz Bielecki got control of the ball when Carlos Teves tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Teves to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Teves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grzegorz Bielecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Teves, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Challenger RT's goalkeeper Grzegorz Bielecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With an all-out effort, Challenger RT's Atilano Esiquio threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matei Zamfira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 66 played minutes, La Guardia Imperial's Marcial Abaunza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grzegorz Bielecki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Guardia Imperial reached it. Grzegorz Bielecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Teves went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Atilano Esiquio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Atilano Esiquio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Zamfira's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Severino Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Challenger RT's Witalis Solarek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atilano Esiquio but with some difficulty. Grzegorz Bielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Teves in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match, Matei Zamfira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atilano Esiquio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Challenger RT's goalie prevented a goal. Grzegorz Bielecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Teves went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Challenger RT's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
