Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Castillo Floranes made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Guardia Imperial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Masa was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventud Valiosa's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castillo Floranes in the 8th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuero Ezquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Teves in the 11th minute of the match. Castillo Floranes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Esiquio having to make a save. Atilano Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Castillo Floranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Carlos Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cuero Ezquierdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Teves in the 16th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cuero Ezquierdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Castillo Floranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Castillo Floranes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Esiquio having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Carlos Teves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cuero Ezquierdo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If Castillo Floranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute of the match La Guardia Imperial got a corner. Juventud Valiosa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Abaunza ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Guardia Imperial's corner Marcial Abaunza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cuero Ezquierdo quite easily take care of the ball. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Castillo Floranes in the 40th minute of play. After the first half La Guardia Imperial were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Teves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Juventud Valiosa's goalkeeper Cuero Ezquierdo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Teves. In the 54th minute Castillo Floranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Elorri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Castillo Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Castillo Floranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Atilano Esiquio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Castillo Floranes in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Juventud Valiosa booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Castillo Floranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventud Valiosa's goalkeeper Cuero Ezquierdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Castillo Floranes made a precise shot to the right of Atilano Esiquio. La Guardia Imperial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Carlos Teves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Sayveon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Carlos Teves managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Guardia Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Teves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cuero Ezquierdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Juventud Valiosa's Castillo Floranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Esiquio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Guardia Imperial's zone, Castillo Floranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilano Esiquio came out of the goal and Castillo Floranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Juventud Valiosa had won after a very even match.
