With an all-out effort, Stommeer A's Santiago Gaizko threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martijn Jol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 20 minutes into the match, Damien Roetering had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Gaizko. Lunatico F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damien Roetering was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Lunatico F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Damien Roetering reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Gaizko. The goal made the score 2-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Martijn Jol sped through Lunatico F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Gaizko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Roetering got free with Santiago Gaizko in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damien Roetering's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Santiago Gaizko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edgardo Oinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Cilio in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Tom Hedvall suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 40 minutes into the game, Anastasio Fliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunatico F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stommeer A the free kick. Stommeer A's Arno van Galen was substituted for Tom Hedvall. Anastasio Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Oinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Cilio in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rosendo Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunatico F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Sanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Oinaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Cilio made a kick off. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Junior in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Gaizko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damien Roetering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Santiago Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Oinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Cilio in the 71st minute of play. Martijn Jol took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Gaizko. Santiago Gaizko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Lunatico F.C made a substitution. Anıl Timurtas replaced Eray Bilen. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Roetering in the 79th minute of play. If Martijn Jol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damien Roetering in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Gaizko saved Lunatico F.C from getting behind. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Jol in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jouke Krol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Oinaz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Santiago Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martijn Jol in the 92nd minute of play. If Jouke Krol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Stommeer A's goalkeeper Edgardo Oinaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jouke Krol. Stommeer A walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
