The wind increased when Vivaldo Carmona made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Zonta in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Abecia saved ʀɪᴢᴇ ᴋᴀᴍɪsʜɪʀᴏ 神代 利世!! from getting behind. In the 55th match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paulo Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ʀɪᴢᴇ ᴋᴀᴍɪsʜɪʀᴏ 神代 利世!!'s Vladimiro Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Zonta in the 92nd minute of play. Vivaldo Carmona struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Vladimiro Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Cruzeiro FC.
