Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akrisios Poulakis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melikertes Sardelis got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C defense, Kyle Cox kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akrisios Poulakis. The ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akrisios Poulakis should have stopped the shot. The supporters of England booed when ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aietes Egonidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Akrisios Poulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akrisios Poulakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akrisios Poulakis was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Akrisios Poulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Macdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 46th minute of play forced ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C's goalkeeper Akrisios Poulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΥΠΕΡΟΥΝΤΑΣ F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. England were winning 1-3.

Micah Macdonalds short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Akrisios Poulakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Eddie Willis hit a great ball. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iolkos Softhis in the 79th minute of play. England's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
