When Anísio Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Alagoano couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Dionísio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo de Carvalho saved Goblins F.C. from getting behind. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Dionísio in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo de Carvalho saved Goblins F.C. from getting behind. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. When Vivaldo Munhoz in the 19th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Pedrinho Guimarães kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Orlando de Barros hit a great ball. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anísio Alagoano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Vivaldo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Célio Vianna charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célio Vianna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Célio Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 46th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Dionísio made a kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. Arnaldo de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Umberto Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo de Carvalho was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Orlando de Barros got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Anísio Alagoano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Goblins F.C.'s Vivaldo Munhoz made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Goblins F.C.'s Arnaldo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 94th minute of play. Gilvan Paes hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
