When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jožef Giovani sped through Switzerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. Levi von Herren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Branimir Turk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jožef Giovani fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YellowStone's protests and gave Jožef Giovani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute Jacinto Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tit Antonić struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YellowStone. After 27th play minutes Branimir Turk shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Hias Nüssli and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 30th minute, Samuele Kunz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Branimir Turk came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Switzerland's Levi von Herren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Levi von Herren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Switzerland protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Levi von Herren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hias Nüssli had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Verjano Čižman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Maurer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Branimir Turk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tit Antonić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. YellowStone's Branimir Turk got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Tit Antonić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo von Känel to maneuver through the defense. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branimir Turk in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Tit Antonić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Mitija Artnak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Samuele Kunz from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Erik Berglund's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branimir Turk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jožek Pavšič hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Branimir Turk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland's Eric Thomi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mitija Artnak, made in the 85th minute of the game. The supporters of YellowStone booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timo Siegmund didn't get a good kick on the ball. YellowStone's Verjano Čižman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Switzerland. Samuele Kunz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When YellowStone's Branimir Turk in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Switzerland's goalie prevented a goal. Branimir Turk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branimir Turk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YellowStone's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
