But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Lehior couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elvio Dunixi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sinchyteam getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luciano Piearres hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Clemente Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinchyteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sinchyteam's Clemente Hulberto got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fabio Lehior charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Lehior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Sinchyteam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Fabio Lehior got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hias Nüssli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luciano Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Lehior made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 43rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hias Nüssli would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Lehior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lehior in the 51st minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rodrigo von Känel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Rodrigo von Känel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo von Känel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo von Känel in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Switzerland were awarded a corner. Samuele Kunz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Switzerland's Samuele Kunz to fire away a dangerous shot which Nuno de Alcântara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jacinto Maurer struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Nuno de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Switzerland. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Fabio Lehior managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinchyteam's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Lehior was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Switzerland's Oskar Scheller was substituted for Fridolin Neumeister. In the 86th minute, Fabio Lehior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Sinchyteam got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Dunixi. Rodrigo von Känel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno de Alcântara having to interfere. Elvio Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Rodrigo von Känel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno de Alcântara skillfully saved the ball. Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
