Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heintje Alemasov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Emílio Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Lanczak. Sawino SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emílio Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Heintje Alemasov might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heintje Alemasov ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun got control of the ball when Waclaw Hludzenski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 22nd minute of play. Borys Lanczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Janusz Niedzwiecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Sawino SA's Waclaw Hludzenski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Hludzenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Balázs Bors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Sawino SA got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacy Frodyma ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 38th minute of play. Balázs Bors kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Balázs Bors was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, one of Sawino SA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Borys Lanczak had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Emílio Terra's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waclaw Hludzenski to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Errecaborda AFC's Prospero Jerardo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Lanczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borys Lanczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Tasso in the 61st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Min Eta in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Ado got free with Borys Lanczak in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Emílio Terra made a precise shot to the right of Borys Lanczak. Sawino SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Waclaw Hludzenski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sawino SA defense, Emílio Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Lanczak. The Sawino SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Lanczak should have stopped the shot. Pastor Ado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Borys Lanczak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edmond Verdun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waclaw Hludzenski went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score.
