In the 11thth minute of the game King Scorpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. King Scorpio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. James Batistuta made a great header on A4p FC Gad's corner, it was just that Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun managed to reach the ball for a save. King Scorpio might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Verdun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. King Scorpio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game King Scorpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, King Scorpio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 33rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. King Scorpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on A4p FC Gad's corner Iulian Berceanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Terra. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after A4p FC Gad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Terra took the corner.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Tate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 52nd minute of the match. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Scorpio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, King Scorpio put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Edmond Verdun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ado in the 59th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A4p FC Gad's attentive Iulian Berceanu managed to snatch the ball when Valko De Hond made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. James Batistuta came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edmond Verdun could save by the left post. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Verdun was left in no man's land by his defense there! A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. In the 72nd minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, King Scorpio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edmond Verdun. The goal made the score 1-6. 77 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Terra came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Scorpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gică Busuioc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gică Busuioc in the 87th minute. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 88th minute of play. Gică Busuioc hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The A4p FC Gad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A4p FC Gad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
