With a left leg Dante Chapel saved Vaccean Warriors from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Alfonso Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Chapel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Vaccean Warriors's César Orozco got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Chapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Petrulean in the 35th minute of play forced Guns And Roses's goalkeeper Eustacio Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Chapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Tidéksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Jesús Salvador had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Chapel made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gilbert Tidéksson sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Jesús Salvador hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Tidéksson struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Dante Chapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guns And Roses. Jesús Salvador fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Chapel having to interfere. Dante Chapel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jesús Salvador showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 83 minute of play. With a little luck, Vaccean Warriors's Dante Chapel got control of the ball when Gilbert Tidéksson tried to sneak it across the goal line.
