The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Alpina FC's Joerie Bastiaens got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Modig in the 7th minute of play forced Alpina FC's goalkeeper Jo Van Deijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes Alpina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malcolm Nykvist who took care of the corner kick. Malcolm Nykvist made a great header on ZigZag Athletic's corner, it was just that Alpina FC's Jo Van Deijck managed to reach the ball for a save. Jo Van Deijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Biörling in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alpina FC defense, Kristian Biörling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Van Deijck. The Alpina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Van Deijck should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Kåre Målare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Lode Van Achteren in the 47th minute really tested Algot Påk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Mattijs Van Beylen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Kristian Biörling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jo Van Deijck made a huge save. Jo Van Deijck was a little too slow when Sten Mellberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. Hjalmar Berg replaced Kristian Biörling. When Joerie Bastiaens was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. A collision led to Alpina FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Joerie Bastiaens hit a great ball. Algot Påk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunter Cuejvers, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joery Uijterhoeven in the 67th minute of play. Algot Påk didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alpina FC's Joery Uijterhoeven shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattijs Van Beylen in the 70th minute of play. Jo Van Deijck made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Hjalmar Berg sent off a good shot on target. Malcolm Nykvist made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alpina FC's Birger Panhuijsen. In the 79th minute Mattijs Van Beylen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alpina FC's zone, Henrik Larsfelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jo Van Deijck came out of the goal and Henrik Larsfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Alpina FC's Gunter Cuejvers got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Kalle Modig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jo Van Deijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jo Van Deijck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Joery Uijterhoeven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Alpina FC's goalkeeper Jo Van Deijck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Berg. The Alpina FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ZigZag Athletic were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
