Mundial EC's Ruy Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Ferreira in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Leonardo Rosado got a free kick in the 20th minute. Atlético da Colina's Natã Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Saldanha in the 29th minute of play. Natã Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão de Brito in the 34th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Leonardo Rosado heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 39th minute, Perivaldo Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Mundial EC's Anselmo Sampaio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Léo Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Léo Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético da Colina made a substitution. Yan Moura replaced Joaquim Massa.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Paraíba made a kick off. A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rui Cordeiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Chicão de Brito got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Silvério de Senna notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mundial EC's Ruy Arce. Ruy Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Rosado came free, but Natã Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natã Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Sampaio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Natã Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sampaio in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Leonardo Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Rui Cordeiro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ruy Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério de Senna in the 85th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Mundial EC were the better team. Mundial EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
