Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anselmo Sampaio made the kick off which started today's match. In the 13th minute of the match, Dalmacio Vincente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruy Arce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Jeremias Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Rosado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundial EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 25th minute, Lauro Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mundial EC's Ruy Arce got control of the ball when Jeremias Salbatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. LOS TRIPODES's Jeremias Salbatore was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maximiliano Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sampaio in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LOS TRIPODES's Ramiro Gora got a free kick in the 37th minute. Lauro Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes LOS TRIPODES got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Regis. Lauro Trigo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. LOS TRIPODES were furious when Cecilio Benvide was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 43rd minute, one of LOS TRIPODES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LOS TRIPODES. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Mundial EC. Lauro Trigo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximiliano Honrio. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Ariando to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Mundial EC's Anselmo Sampaio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Mundial EC's Lauro Trigo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Maximiliano Honrio. Anselmo Sampaio in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Honrio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Pedro Luís Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mundial EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Honrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão de Brito in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Ramiro Madureira got a free kick in the 65th minute. Blas Ariando scored 2-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruy Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when LOS TRIPODES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Sampaio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Maximiliano Honrio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. LOS TRIPODES's Maximiliano Honrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save LOS TRIPODES from getting a goal against them. Maximiliano Honrio was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Anselmo Sampaio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Sampaio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. After 79th play minutes Anselmo Sampaio shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Maximiliano Honrio and just under the crossbar into goal. 82 minutes into the game, Anselmo Sampaio lined in a short shot 2-7 behind a frustrated Maximiliano Honrio. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leonardo Rosado hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, LOS TRIPODES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Regis to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximiliano Honrio having to make a save. After 90 minutes, Anselmo Sampaio made it 2-8 with a short kick to the right side. LOS TRIPODES's Maximiliano Honrio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximiliano Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Anselmo Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Honrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-9.
