The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serdar Gulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. David Bismarck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 10th minute of the game was made by Erubiel Erasto with Serdar Gulson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 11 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Mateusz Marajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bismarck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Bismarck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C. A. Potrero's Pastor Montrell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Bismarck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 24th minute, Ulises Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper David Bismarck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Bismarck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serdar Gulson in the 38th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Mateusz Marajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bismarck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Karol Borowski replaced Mateusz Marajda. Erubiel Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Marouane Rocchi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lëtzebuerg's protests and gave Marouane Rocchi a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes FC Lëtzebuerg got a freekick which was hit by Marouane Rocchi. David Bismarck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. David Bismarck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Borowski in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Santos in the 66th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper David Bismarck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Lëtzebuerg's David Bismarck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lëtzebuerg from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Potrero's zone, Cédric Payen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Arendarski came out of the goal and Cédric Payen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Yorangil came free, but David Bismarck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Bismarck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 81st minute. David Bismarck came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil. But to his dismay, Mustafa Barış Yorangil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Magnus Mikaelsson put in a rough tackle. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when FC Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Mikaelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Ulises Bernad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Borowski came free, but David Bismarck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Bismarck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 94th minute of play. C. A. Potrero played a much better game than FC Lëtzebuerg and deserved their victory. The FC Lëtzebuerg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
