Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessandro Del Piero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Alessandro Del Piero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Zé Roberto Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Mândrilă in the 39th minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu was substituted for Alessandro Del Piero. In the 64th minute, Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. In the 74th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Castro to maneuver through the defense. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
