After 24 minutes, Stacy Doll made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hardi Jucknischke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacy Doll in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guerau Sastre during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aerolineas Argentinas FC booed when Glorioso Deportivo Cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guerau Sastre didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Loi made a kick off. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Loi in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Daryl Lutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardi Jucknischke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gong Yu Le. Federico Di Tullio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tzvetan Mudrov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julián Valla. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Marcos Loi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke. Hardi Jucknischke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julián Valla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Wicherek in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aerolineas Argentinas FC had won after a very even match.
