Thanks to some nice moves Adrian Duldurescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Glenn Fyfe however easily saved by the left post. 9 minutes into the game, Miguel Sanches lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Duldurescu in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Lëtzebuerg's Camillo Moriggi got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Iulian Berceanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. A4p FC Gad's Erasmo Damião was substituted for James Batistuta. Jorge Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner. The A4p FC Gad fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Sanches in the 45th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when King Scorpio sped through FC Lëtzebuerg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Bittencourt. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Löfgren to make the kick off. Jorge Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavius Cândroveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jorge Bittencourt made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Duldurescu came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Duldurescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 83rd minute King Scorpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Flavius Cândroveanu made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Bittencourt. FC Lëtzebuerg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Adrian Duldurescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vitalij Káňa fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lëtzebuerg's protests and gave Vitalij Káňa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Flavius Cândroveanu hit a great ball. The A4p FC Gad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A4p FC Gad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
