Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mugur Jupâneanu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MCM's players had a chance to rest. Radomil Redisz might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Germano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomil Redisz ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Redisz came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Redisz in the 33rd minute of the match. Pedro Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tufescu having to interfere. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 40th minute of play. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elodio Ghinescu in the 41st minute of the match. A hard shot 43 in the game by Eustaquio Jaizki from a close distance when the talented Manuel Tufescu managed to make a qualified save. FC MCM's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 51 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Florin Gaciu. FC MCM's Mugur Jupâneanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Iban in the 62 minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Mugur Jupâneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Redisz came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Radomil Redisz 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC MCM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
