The FC MCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Allan Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will McMahon having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Reuben Bunch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florin Gaciu charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Gaciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Florin Gaciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radomil Redisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reuben Bunch during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Bunch. Vancouver Reds's Nathan Descoteaux was substituted for Shelton Woodruff. Reuben Bunch kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Mugur Jupâneanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will McMahon. Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Radomil Redisz made the kick off in the second half. Will McMahon made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Radomil Redisz sent off a good shot on target. Reuben Bunch kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Radomil Redisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, one of Vancouver Reds:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vancouver Reds. Elodio Ghinescu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. FC MCM made a substitution. Bogdan Agusoaei replaced Florin Gaciu. Will McMahon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Redisz in the 64th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frankie Carnes sped through FC MCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Tufescu. After some careless play in the Vancouver Reds defense, Elodio Ghinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Will McMahon. The Vancouver Reds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Will McMahon should have stopped the shot. Manuel Tufescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apollinaire Gousse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will McMahon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Redisz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. A hard shot 85 in the game by Bogdan Agusoaei from a close distance when the talented Will McMahon managed to make a qualified save. Vancouver Reds's players were relieved. In the 88th minute of the match Bixente Lizarazu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Tufescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute Radomil Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will McMahon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Redisz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Redisz in the 94th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Will McMahon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frankie Carnes in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tufescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
