The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Pascual Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NECKER49's Timoteo Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save NECKER49 from getting a goal against them. Severiano Pasqual got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Will McMahon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Vancouver Reds's Will McMahon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Venceslao in the 12th minute of play. Séverin Dent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Will McMahon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lyman Hewitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Timoteo Maldonado made a huge save. Timoteo Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Jerry Lawler sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Amédée Gillis. NECKER49's Lino Fernado got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lyman Hewitt sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes of play, Vancouver Reds's Lyman Hewitt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Maldonado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vancouver Reds's Lyman Hewitt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Will McMahon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Venceslao came free, but Will McMahon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Carnes in the 46th minute of the match. Severiano Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Lawler made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Vancouver Reds got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Woodruff. Eusebio Venceslao succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 61st minute Reuben Bunch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Maldonado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shelton Woodruff kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Will McMahon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will McMahon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Fernado in the 70th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lekubegi in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will McMahon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NECKER49's Prudencio Lavalle was substituted for Lino Fernado. NECKER49's Fausto Fero was substituted for Severiano Pasqual. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Auclair didn't get a good kick on the ball. NECKER49's Eusebio Venceslao shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Will McMahon but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Eusebio Venceslao got a free kick in the 87th minute. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reuben Bunch didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes, NECKER49's Eusebio Venceslao shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Will McMahon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NECKER49 reached it. Will McMahon made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Fausto Fero sent off a good shot on target. When NECKER49's Fausto Fero, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for NECKER49.
