In the 17th minute Şenel Zeval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alistair Holbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Page hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alistair Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Zeval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, John Bratt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alistair Holbrook. Alistair Holbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when John Bratt sped through Senegal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alistair Holbrook. Alistair Holbrook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürgen Trittin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Şenel Zeval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alistair Holbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jürgen Trittin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alistair Holbrook having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But to his dismay, Şenel Zeval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Kattvik kings played a much better game than Senegal and deserved their victory. The Senegal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
