The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Börje Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. Börje Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Mukifus FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Hudson to maneuver through the defense. Karl Pilgren had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Remus Pincharoen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 9th minute, Mukifus FSCMZ's Remus Pincharoen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Thiago Hudson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Pilgren. Thiago Hudson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Hudson came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mukifus FSCMZ defense, Vinicio Junior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo Neiva. The Mukifus FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo Neiva should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Dylan Browne with Vinicio Junior as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dylan Browne made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zé Carlos Monteiro immediately put the ball in play. In the 28th minute Ricardinho Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Neiva came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano. But to his dismay, Aníbal Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Junior in the 42nd minute of play. Mukifus FSCMZ's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Dylan Browne threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mukifus FSCMZ's Remus Pincharoen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 47 minutes, Thiago Hudson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mukifus FSCMZ and the Jenipapo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Thiago Hudson made the kick off in the second half. Wambasther Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Pilgren having to interfere. Rômulo Neiva was a little too slow when Vinicio Junior got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-3. Börje Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Hudson in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Pena in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rômulo Neiva saved Mukifus FSCMZ from getting behind. Mukifus FSCMZ's Ben Zynek was substituted for Cássio Vidal. After 70 minutes Mukifus FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardinho Pena who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Maurício Arósio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 75 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Zynek came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the game Vinicio Junior made a throw-in which Maurício Arósio played forward. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wambasther Robben in the 79th minute of play. After 87 played minutes, Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jenipapo SC reached it. After 95 played minutes, Mukifus FSCMZ's Woody Vaquero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl Pilgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mukifus FSCMZ reached it. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jenipapo SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
