When Igor Cavalera came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Cavalera couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo Vergílio got free with Marcelinho Barral in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerônimo Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Marcelinho Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Igor Cavalera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Marcelinho Barral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Winnicki came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Barral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The tension between the Ogro F.C. and the Roceira SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Cavalera to make the kick off. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 53rd minute of play. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Speed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Cavalera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Cavalera struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Marcelinho Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Thomas Lang hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedê Oliveira got free with Alysson Rezende in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Válbson Moraes hit a great ball. Ogro F.C.'s Jerônimo Vergílio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Roceira SC. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Minnemann in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Dan Zimmermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicko McBrain in the 88th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Zimmermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Marco Minnemann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Barral was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rdth minute of the game Marco Minnemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Minnemann in the 94th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Minnemann in the 95th minute of play. Roceira SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
