In the 13th minute, Celsinho Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rômulo Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Zynek came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ben Zynek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vânderson Saa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 23 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Neiva. Mukifus FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Dolar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 27th minute of play forced Mukifus FSCMZ's goalkeeper Rômulo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wambasther Robben in the 28th minute of play. Rômulo Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Jaime Carro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Zynek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vânderson Saa. That made the score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. Vânderson Saa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ben Zynek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 43 minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mukifus FSCMZ reached it. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Barcellos Mineiro FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
