After 33 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Thanos. Slavko Mojsovski kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Paulo Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Orange. Coice de Mula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Godoi was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Anıl Nusrettin in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Varela saved Palestra do Interior from getting behind. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Douglas Falcão got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 56 minutes into the match. Paulo Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Orange having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Thanos. Alexandre Thanos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Coice de Mula's Ernesto Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Alexandre Thanos in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Coice de Mula's Kiko Fonseca. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rafael Gomes hit a great ball. 吴洲坚 made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vitório Lago however managed to control. In the 94th minute, Douglas Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra do Interior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coice de Mula's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
