The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Norbert Konopka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jipa RO's Norbert Konopka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Renan Melo. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Norbert Konopka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Konopka in the 14th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Norbert Konopka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jipa RO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Konopka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Konopka in the 25th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Renan Melo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Norbert Konopka took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Melo. Renan Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jipa RO's Glauco Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jipa RO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Haruki Murakami hit a great ball. Charlie Boström kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norbert Konopka was the one to do the kick off. Renan Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norbert Konopka went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 56th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jipa RO's Ramón Cardozo was substituted for Eusébio Koehler. In the 70th minute of the match Jipa RO got a corner. A.A. Francana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Henrique ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francisco Secco thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Renan Melo, a very annoying self made goal in the 71st minute which led to 4-1. Renan Melo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jipa RO's Haroldo Terra. But to his dismay, Haroldo Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Terra in the 79th minute of play. Fabinho Prestes made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Aykut Canel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Terra in the 88th minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Terra came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's Haroldo Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Jipa RO were awarded a corner. Bruno Henrique went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute Bruno Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 97 minutes on the clock, Francisco Secco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 96 minutes into the game, one of A.A. Francana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.A. Francana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jipa RO.
