The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Durval Marinho should have stopped the shot. If Felipe Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Konopka in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes Relyn Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldinho Fenomeno who took care of the corner kick. Fabinho Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 36 minute of play. Norbert Konopka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Marinho having to make a save. In the 41st minute Norbert Konopka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Santos to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Jipa RO's Norbert Konopka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durval Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durval Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Terra in the 94th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haruki Murakami during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Haruki Murakami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jipa RO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
