Thanks to some nice moves Igor Cavalera could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Karl Pilgren however easily saved by the left post. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Igor Cavalera took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Karl Pilgren to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 16th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Pilgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cavalera in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 30th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alysson Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Junior's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Patrick Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Ricardinho Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Pena in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maurício Arósio hit a great ball. Alex Van Halen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Cavalera to make the kick off. Kajetan Pilarski kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 56th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Arósio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 58th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Pilarski got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zé Carlos Monteiro. Vinicio Junior was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Jenipapo SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65thth minute of the game Igor Cavalera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ogro F.C. were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Jenipapo SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerônimo Vergílio took the corner. Dan Zimmermann was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 84th minute, Dan Zimmermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicko McBrain came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicko McBrain in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Pilgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Pilgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicko McBrain's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Minnemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Ogro F.C.'s Nicko McBrain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Pilgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ogro F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jenipapo SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
