When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

51 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Hicham Al Azka came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Capibaribe Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After 94 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Pique. Capibaribe Stars's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
