Alexander Higgins made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Karahan Mutluer sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karahan Mutluer. With a little luck, Scotland's Alexander Higgins got control of the ball when Karahan Mutluer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karahan Mutluer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Higgins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Karahan Mutluer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Higgins was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
