The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flemming Cavegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Sarstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Peder Sarstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flemming Cavegn was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Peder Sarstedt sped through Gucci United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flemming Cavegn. 15 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Flores. Flemming Cavegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Sarstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gucci United's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Patrik Heggert sped through Gucci United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flemming Cavegn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Jonasson in the 26th minute of play forced Gucci United's goalkeeper Flemming Cavegn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Bruhn hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Huvudstaden from getting a goal against them. Flemming Cavegn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Sarstedt in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Jonasson in the 33rd minute of play forced Gucci United's goalkeeper Flemming Cavegn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gucci United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrik Heggert was slow to take the kick. During this time Huvudstaden's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Patrik Heggert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flemming Cavegn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flemming Cavegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Sarstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flemming Cavegn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Jonasson in the 41st minute of the match. Flemming Cavegn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Sarstedt's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 45th play minutes Peder Sarstedt shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Flemming Cavegn and just under the crossbar into goal. Flemming Cavegn came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Huvudstaden's Patrik Heggert. But to his dismay, Patrik Heggert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Gucci United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huvudstaden were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peder Sarstedt made a kick off. Flemming Cavegn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Heggert in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Despland came free, but Bengt Apelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Flemming Cavegn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eralp Sipahi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Bengt Apelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Aldescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Aldescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bengt Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Aldescu in the 63rd minute of the match. Flemming Cavegn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Sarstedt in the 64th minute of play. Flemming Cavegn made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Peder Sarstedt sent off a good shot on target. Codrin Aldescu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Bengt Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gucci United. In the 72nd minute of the match, Arvid Olsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flemming Cavegn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gucci United made a substitution. Renato Aeberli replaced Lucas Steinmann. In the 74th minute of the match Huvudstaden got a corner. Gucci United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrik Heggert ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Patrik Heggert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn did a great save. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Despland in the 76th minute of play. When Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gucci United's goalie prevented a goal. Flemming Cavegn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peder Sarstedt in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flemming Cavegn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peder Sarstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flemming Cavegn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Veltin Lucciotti hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Arvid Olsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flemming Cavegn, 0-5. Flemming Cavegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peder Sarstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
