Roger Miguelez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Elequemedo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Miguelez saved Vilela FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 13th minute of play forced Vilela FC's goalkeeper Roger Miguelez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when Vilela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 15th minute of play forced Vilela FC's goalkeeper Roger Miguelez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Miguelez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Gogo Elequemedo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Miguelez. 27 minutes into the match, Vilela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Elequemedo came free, but Roger Miguelez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Miguelez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Roger Miguelez came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Cesar Romildo. But to his dismay, Cesar Romildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Roger Miguelez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Romildo in the 39th minute of play. Cesar Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roger Miguelez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gogo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Loi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Roger Miguelez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Miguelez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Gogo Elequemedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Miguelez. Vilela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Elequemedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The supporters of Vilela FC booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Miguelez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gogo Elequemedo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Roger Miguelez made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Gogo Elequemedo sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roger Miguelez. Roger Miguelez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 79th minute, Cesar Romildo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roger Miguelez. The goal made the score 0-7. With a little luck, Vilela FC's Roger Miguelez got control of the ball when Cesar Romildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vilela FC's zone, Placido Llanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Miguelez came out of the goal and Placido Llanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Miguelez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Elequemedo in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Elequemedo got free with Roger Miguelez in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Defensores de Mar de Ajó played a much better game than Vilela FC and deserved their victory. The Vilela FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
